THE IDEA

La Nansa is a brand that was born in 2014 from the idea of two brothers, Joan Carles and Jordi Navarro. Both involved in the world of the vertical textile industry for more than 30 years.

The idea arose from the need to find a truly comfortable garment on the market, with prints that represented the culture in which we live.
In a certain way, the place where La Nansa is manufactured influences its designs, between the sea and the mountains, the Maresme region becomes a source of inspiration in each collection.

Continuing with our philosophy, we are committed to the quality and innovation of fabrics, always adapting to the demands of our consumers.

“We are aware that we still have a lot to learn, but we are very far from what we were years ago and we feel that we are on the right path.”

SLOW FASHION

We are committed to Slow Fashion, which is why we do not offer collections every week, thus avoiding overproduction. All our manufacturing is national, thus reducing CO2 emissions and leaving minimal impact on the environment.

“Our society produces, consumes and discards tons of clothing every day, humanity faces the challenge of converting the textile industry into a sustainable and planet-friendly sector”

All human activities leave a mark on the planet and dressing is no exception.
We have 3 areas of development: materials, packaging and proximity. Each one of them involves a lot of work, We assume that without effort, there is no change.

LET'S BE MORE SUSTAINABLE

We like to live respecting the environment and people, which is why our garments are manufactured ethically and sustainably.

Fiber is the raw material required for the manufacture of a fabric. It is a continuous, spun or intertwined filament.

We have been working for some time to incorporate sustainable materials into our collections that reduce environmental impact.

The organic cotton that makes up our garments allows us to reduce water consumption as well as the non-use of pesticides, fertilizers or genetically modified seeds, in this way we allow crop rotation in the fields and avoid throwing products that are harmful to humans.

Our garments are dyed under European Oeko-Tex regulations: Free of herbicides and pesticides, as well as the lacquers used in the printing process follow the regulations and conditions of the European Union in ecological treatments. They are lacquers manufactured with a water base, thus discarding plastisols and formulated with pigments free of heavy metals.

Under the standards of our project we want to continue growing and offer more garments made with sustainable materials in each collection.

We have the following certified seals:

“The GOTS seal is a guarantee that all the chemical products used comply with rigorous environmental and toxicological controls, to avoid the presence of any unwanted residue in the fabrics that will later be your clothes.”
